Recently, the World Poker Tour, a huge and well-known poker tournament, was held at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas. Numerous renowned players gathered to try their luck and win substantial prizes.
In the context of such a large series, the WPT Player of the Year rating points were traditionally tallied. This ranking takes into account both the number of hits in WPT tournaments as well as the total prize money received.
This ranking was topped by Chad Evelazh, a 31-year-old poker player from Indiana who was named World Poker Tour Player of the Year for 2022.

In 2022, Evelage’s winning run continued as he won a World Series of Poker bracelet event. Chad earned his first bracelet and $1,409,610 as the winner of the WSOP 2022 Event #8: $25,000 High Roller.
Particularly since he won the $10,400 WPT Five Diamond tournament for a whooping $1,042,300, he was voted WPT Player of the Year.
In the last year, Evelage has cashed in four WPT events, including two in which he reached the final table. The poker player has won a total of $1,450,820 in World Poker Tour events this season.
Throughout his poker career, Chad Evelage has won more than $7,400,000 in live, offline events. About $2,600,000 of this total was won via participation in WPT events. It seems probable that the New Year will be just as prosperous for Chad as the last.
